What it amounts to is, I give the artist pics of both contestants and then give him a photo illustrating the hold I want him to portray. That way, there's a lot less chance of flubbing things up. They seem to enjoy using the references, too.

Artists *always* appreciate reference pics when they're tasked with drawing something specific. The more precise the reference you can give, the better.
