Rival Angels

Albone: Really enjoying the start of the new arc featuring Sun. Not sure just where you're kicking off with the altercation over the bike, but I liked Sunshine's repartee with the local boys and her inner "Asian" dialogue. She's one of my faves of the cast and seeing her in her "before she was a star" mode is a lotta fun. So I'm waiting patiently for the next ep, even though I don't anticipate seeing a lot of wrestling action for awhile.

Here's another thought: how about having the present-day girls meet an "old school" lady wrestler, one of the bathing-suit and heavy-traveling kind, and contrast their careers to hers? It's a thought. (Paging Rena Titanon...)

Hey Darkmark! Thanks for starting up this thread. I'm glad you're enjoying the current storyline. I was so happy with Justin's writing on this that I hope I can sucker him into writing some more, origin stories or otherwise. I think you're going to enjoy where this leads and, naturally, you can't have a Sun story without wrestling so I think you're going to be pleased.

With the modern day gals meeting an old school vet... I think something along the lines that you suggested is in the works for one of the Upstart Girls and its a key into how one of them got called up to Rival Angels. Vague, I know, but I can't ruin the surprise. XD

I'd like to see a Moola tribute!

I think I'd rather see a Penny Banner tribute. Penny was authentically pretty, skilled, and friendly, a lot more photogenic than Moolah, and a nice lady to correspond with (we traded a decent number of e-mails in our time). Thanks.

Just wanted to thank Mr. Evans and Mr. Riley for the sun origin. Thought it was pretty cool, and the Elektra costume made my day. Surprised, and not surprised when Sun kicked that dude, but good insight to her, it will be interesting to see where her friendship with Sabrina, and request of her, lead her.

I think it'd be prudent if I went with a created character vet over a real life person, because of copyright issues.
