((note- this will be about a couple of wrestlers i came up with-even if only one is mentioned atm. will be updated wheneverly- will try to add something once a week but no promises))

The crowd was getting restless in when the announcer suddenly came out to the ring. The show looked like it was starting a bit early for this Rival Angels event. Dawn and Jeff made their way to their usual positions at ringside to their normal reactions of cheers for Dawn and boos for Jeff. Jeff ignored the crowd like normal while Dawn took some time to chat with a couple of fans on her way in. The announcer then made his way to the ring and after the national anthem was played he brought the crowd to their feet as he declared “WELLLLCOME to Rival Angels!”

After the crowd settled down slightly the announcer continued “In addition to tonight’s incredible card we have a special bonus match ready to start things off for you tonight. A pair of newcomers to Rival Angels here to show their stuff. Our first participant, from Parts Unknown, standing 5’6” weighing in at- <ahem> none of your damned business. Sorry folks that’s what it says here. Let’s hear it for…The Minx!”

Evanescence’s “Bring me to Life” starts playing in the background as the Minx comes out to the ring from the back and the male portion of the audience begins whistling appreciatively as a masked woman- which covers everything except her eyes, nose and mouth steps worth in a tight-fitting, form flattering bodysuit from neck to toe with cuffs of fur around the wrists and tops of her wrestling boots (think the Black Cat's costume from the spiderman comics). The slender woman basked briefly in the audience’s appreciation blowing kisses to some of the louder whistlers as she strolled slowly along the middle of the walkway, making sure to stay out of reach of the fans. Climbing the steps to ringside, she slinked underneath the bottom rope, taking her time allowing the fans to enjoy the view. Once in the ring she glided smoothly to her feet and almost pranced over to her corner as she waited for her opponent.

Taken slightly aback by the Minx’s entrance the announcer took a moment to compose himself before continuing. “And her opponent, from Cleveland Ohio. Standing 5’8” and weighing 135 pounds, it’s ‘Marvelous’ Mandy!”

However this time there was silence from the back. After an awkward several seconds the announcer tried again. “Marvelous Mandy!”

Then from the back a staff member rushed into the ring as the Minx took time to prance around the ring some more, and whispered something to the announcer who nodded and addressed the crowd again. “It seems ‘Marvelous Mandy’s flight has been delayed so…” He got no further as the Minx grabbed the mic away from him.

“What a surprise, that not-so-Marvelous Mandy was too scared to show her face today. She knew she was going to lose so she just happened to miss her plane. She’s probably sitting at home right now watching me and thanking God that she doesn’t have to face me in the ring tonight. I mean after all, no one likes being embarrassed in front of thousands of people. But I REALLY wanted to show you all what the Minx can do, so I don’t suppose there’s anyone in the back that would like to be beaten tonight by me in Mandy’s place is there?”

<at the announcer’s table>
Jeff: That’s the spirit Minx, but I don’t think anyone wants a piece of you from the back. But if you’re looking to kill some time after the show Minx then…

Dawn: Stop right there Jeff. Try using your other brain for a change.

Jeff: Hey I’m just saying. This Minx is a confident gal, why would anyone in the back want to be embarrassed by losing to someone on their first night here?

Dawn: You’d be surprised how some of the wrestlers actually enjoy facing a new challenge Jeff. And it looks like we have an answer. That’s Professor Shannon McCourt on the ramp with a mic.

<at the ramp>
“Listen up Minx. There’s not a wrestler back there who doesn’t want to teach you how things work around here, but they already have matches for tonight. So they agreed that who better than a Professor to teach the mouthy new girl a lesson. So if you’re not just all talk how about it?”

<in the ring>
“Oh no it’s a schoolteacher. Will you make me take a time-out in the corner if I say too much? I never liked my teachers when I was in school anyway so this’ll be fun. C’mon then!” the Minx fired back gesturing the Professor to come on down to the ring.

<announcers desk>
Jeff: oh looks like the teach will be taken to school here Dawn.

Dawn: How would you know Jeff, you’ve never even seen the Minx wrestle before and we both know what a sound technical wrestler the Professor is. She didn’t get that title for nothing.

Jeff: Well if you must know, the Minx and I talked a bit before the show started so I know all about her.

Dawn: Oh really?

Jeff: Would I lie?

Dawn: Repeatedly. But here we go!

<in the ring>
As the Professor climbed between the ropes the Minx immediately jumped her with clubbing blows to the back. Dragging her into the ring as the ref signaled for the bell, the Minx whipped the Professor into the ropes and went for a clothesline only to see the Professor duck underneath and continue on to the opposite rope. Ducking her head for a backflip upon the Professor’s return, the Minx was caught off guard as McCourt stopped short a delivered a solid kick to the chest.

Dawn: There’s the experience edge paying off. The Minx ducked her head too soon and the Professor took her to school.

Jeff: Yeah but look the Minx’s is no fool, she’s rolling outside the ring to catch her breath.

Dawn: Or trying to run.

Jeff: The Minx would never do that. Hey what’s McCourt doing there? that’s not right!

To Jeff and the Minx’s dismay, the Professor wasn’t about to let the newcomer catch her breath and rolled out of the ring after her. The Minx, however saw her and quickly rolled back inside the squared circle. McCourt rolled in to follow only to see the Minx leap up to drop a double knee onto McCourt’s back, if the Professor had been there that is. With a veteran’s savvy, McCourt only faked the slide letting the Minx commit and the masked woman’s knees hit nothing but canvas. Her opponent now hurting McCourt moved in to take advantage by grabbing the Minx’s leg and putting her into a kneelock causing the Minx to cry out with pain as the submission hold was locked in.

Dawn: Great move by Shannon, taking advantage of the Minx’s hurting knees to try and get the quick submission and shut the cocky newcomer up.

Jeff: Too bad it won’t work I know the Minx is too tough to tap.

Dawn: Well we’ll find out just how tough she is I guess. This could be a short stay for the Minx.

Gritting her teeth in pain, the Minx refused to give up so quickly. Fortunately the Professor wasn’t exactly a heavyweight so the Minx slowly began pulling herself towards the nearby ropes. “Do you want to give up?” the ref asked in the middle of this. Shaking her head the Minx refused and kept up her efforts despite the pain. The Professor knew what was going on but found herself unable to stop her opponent without releasing the hold, so the cinched it in tighter hoping to make the Minx tap first. Crying out in pain the Minx made a last gasp stretch and found the safety of the ropes.

“OK McCourt, she’s on the ropes break the hold.” The ref announced as the Professor reluctantly released the hold allowing the Minx to get free. Taking full advantage of the separation the Minx dragged herself outside the ring once more as she gingerly tried to get some feeling back into her legs. “Where do you think you’re going? Class isn’t over yet.” The Professor taunted as she leaned over the ropes ready to chase. “Back away from the ropes McCourt.” The ref admonished as the Professor had broken his count at 3.

Dawn: Looks like the Minx is wondering just what she’s gotten herself into here Jeff.

Jeff: Don’t worry she’ll come through.

As the ref pushed McCourt away, the Minx took the extra time to slip back into the ring. As McCourt drew near ready to continue, the Minx quickly ducked between the top and middle ropes shouting “I’m in the ropes ref, back her up!” When the ref turned his back to admonish McCourt, the Minx took advantage to throw a punch to the Professor’s head to stagger her.

Jeff: That’s my girl!

Dawn: Yup taking a cheap shot.

Jeff: It’s not how you play the game Dawn it’s whether you win or lose!

Following up the punch, the Minx continued to throw punches at her opponent ignoring the ref’s chastising for using a clenched fist. Finally getting the Professor backed into the ropes, the Minx delivered a knee to the midsection before whipping McCourt across the ring and this time catching her with a clothesline as she came back off the far ropes. As the Professor dropped to the mat the Minx quickly went for the cover but only got a 1 count. Upset by this the Minx pulled the Professor up to the knees by the hair and before the ref could reach a five count delivered a standing kick to the Professor’;s back sending her face first to the mat . Locking in a hammerlock and keeping the Professor down on the mat, the Minx only held the lock briefly before she leaned in on the arm to push upwards and then drive her knees into the back of McCourt who gasped in pain. Releasing the arm, the Minx straddled her opponent and locked in her version of the camel clutch wrenching backwards to increase the pressure on McCourt’s spine as now she sought the submission win.

Jeff: I told ya Dawn, the Minx has this in the bag.

Dawn: This is a dangerous situation for Shannon, I have to agree with you about that much Jeff. Now Can the Professor take the submission she tried to dish out earlier?

Jeff: We both know she can’t. McCourt should just give up now and avoid extra humiliation.

Back in the ring the Minx had an almost wild look in her eye as she continued to wrench back on the still fighting Professor. “ASK HER!” the Minx demanded again and again but the Professor refused to give in. The crowd then began clapping in unison to try and rally the Professor who was clearly in pain but would not give up. As if inspired by the crowd’s support, the Professor slowly struggled onwards, inch my inch pulling her knees back towards her body as she tried to get some semblance of leverage back and relieve the pressure. “Shut up!” a nervous Minx yelled at the crowd as she looked around worriedly as McCourt rallied. But the Professor continued to fight and got to her knees which gave her the chance to slip her arms off the Minx’s legs breaking the hold, reached back and suddenly hook the Minx’s legs instead! Suddenly the Minx was the one in trouble as McCourt slowly forced herself up to her feet lifting the Minx up in a piggy back fashion. The Minx was shaking her head in denial and fear when the Professor threw herself back and dropping the Minx flat on her back with all the Professor’s body weight on top of her.

Dawn: There’s the fighting spirit we see here in Rival Angels Jeff. Shannon will keep fighting no matter what predicament she finds herself in.

Jeff: Lucky move.

With both combatants down the ref began counting them both out. At the count of five the Minx began to stir. At seven McCourt did as well. At eight the Minx dragged herself to her knees and reared back for another punch. The Minx swung only to get her punched blocked and answered with one from the Professor. The two exchanged blocks and punches as they pulled themselves to their feet with the Minx getting the better of the exchange and locking in a headlock after her last punch staggered McCourt as it looked like the newcomer was trying to buy some time to regroup herself. McCourt tried to break the hold by throwing her opponent off the rope but a loud screech told another story as the Minx actually held a handful of hair in with the headlock and pulled McCourt back. “Break the hold Minx, you have the hair!” the ref yelled getting in the Minx’s face as she tried to deny it. This however gave the Professor the opening to toss the Minx across the ropes and catch her with a double knife edge chop as she rebounded back across the ring.

Dawn: This is a great back and forth match we have going here. Neither woman can get a sustained edge so far.

Jeff: Yeah the Minx must be taking it easy on McCourt or something.

Dawn: Or once again Jeff you’re underestimating someone the fans cheer.

Jeff: Hey I can’t help it if the fans have bad taste in wrestlers.

Meanwhile the Minx had staggered toward the corner only to have McCourt grab the back of her head and start smashing it into the turnbuckle. “ONE!..TWO..!Three..!” the fans counted along each blow as the dazed Minx dropped to her knees after the sixth one- where McCourt merely started bashing her head onto the middle turnbuckle before smashing her head on the bottom turnbuckle for the tenth and final blow just as the ref’s count hit four.

Jeff: That’s cheating, she should be giving the Minx a chance to get out of the corner not keep attacking her!

Dawn: As you like to say Jeff, Shannon has until the five count to break it up.

Jeff: But…but that’s different!

Pulling the Minx back up to her feet, the Professor irish whipped the Minx into the far corner she where the newcomer found the turnbuckles weren’t any softer there as her struck back first into them. McCourt ran in afterwards ready to deliver a forearm only to get caught with a boot to the face by a not quite finished Minx and staggered away from the corner. Visibly upset and hurting, the Minx followed her and raked her fingernails across the Professor’s back as the ref yelled at her again for the illegal tactic.

Dawn: What a classic wrestling hold that was Jeff. The Minx looks like she feels she has to cheat to keep up with the Professor.

Jeff: What do you mean? That was the deadly ten fingertip death strike.

Dawn: The what?!?

Jeff: I saw it in a movie once.

Dawn: If you say so. In any case after the rake of the back, the Minx delivered a nice looking back breaker and tried for a cover but only got a two count. The Minx has been focusing on the back a lot in this one and the Professor hasn’t been able to isolate the leg like she had earlier.

'Dammit why won’t she stay down?' The Minx thought to herself after the kickout. 'See how she likes this one then.' Pulling the Professor back up, the Minx prepared to deliver a suplex but just as she had the Professor halfway up the Professor began kicking her legs madly and the Minx lost the balance as the attempt was blocked. Then using the extra advantage of her own bodyweight already falling to the mat, the McCourt reversed the move into a vertical suplex of her own. As the two slammed to the mat, the Professor floated over and hooked a leg for another pinfall attempt as the crowd chanted along with the count “ONE!...TWO…TH…” and a kickout by the Minx at two and a half.

Dawn: Shannon almost had her there off of that nice reversal. I think she senses the end may be near.

Jeff: …

Dawn: Thanks Jeff for that insightful commentary. Now look, the Minx is begging off.

Sure enough the Minx began edging back into a corner her hands held out pleadingly as she implored the Professor to take it easy on her. The Professor doesn’t seem to be going along with the Minx’s offer as McCourt started stalking her back to the corner. The ref moved in once more to separate the two…
