John Cena won most of the matches against JBL, expect the last time they met. in which JBL won.. there's a very big posibility here that Shawn Michaels will get involve. in which JBL will win the the title against John Cena...

I agree with Albone.. I think Jeff is going to drop the belt.. but I don't think Christian will be going to WWE again..

I think Shawn Michaels will win and head for Wrestlemania.. in which the storyline, Shawn Michaels will face J.B.L for the belt..

another option is Big Show. Big Show is hunger for a title shot in which Vickie Geurerro didn't gave him, also Big Show almost won the royal rumble in the past, but actually out smarted by Chris Benoit.. So I say Big Show another possibility..

Another option is Randy Orton. I think, if John Cena will win against J.B.L in the Royal Rumble.. possible that Randy Orton will win the Royal Rumble so Randy Orton will face John Cena in wrestlemania

Wildcard will be Chris Jericho..

I will be surprise if Triple H win the royal rumble.. if in the storyline Triple H still got issue with Kozlov.. winning that Triple H go straight on WrestleMania.. unless the writer wants Triple H going back to Raw.. if Triple H going back to Raw, Triple H win against whoever holding the World Heavyweight title.

Santino Marella, if this guy win the royal rumble.. I don't know how the writer and the creative team think of wrestlemania..

My predictions:

1. Beth Phoenix def. Melina, retain Women's Title
- This match will full of outside interference now that Beth has both Santino and Rosa Mendez on her side. With the help of those two, Beth will win the match and retain the title. However, the interference could also cause disqualification though. But either way, Beth will still keep her title.

2. Jack Swagger def. Matt Hardy, retain ECW Title
- Jack Swagger win the title in a match without any hype at all two weeks ago. Then they have a rematch in PPV, once again without proper hype or anything. And since WWE apparently is trying to push Swagger with full force this year, Swagger will retain the title. As for Matt Hardy, I believe he is needed for another storyline.

3. Edge def. Jeff Hardy, win WWE Title
- 'The black cloud' will apparently still hanging around Jeff Hardy, and thus this certain 'black cloud' will also make him lose the title back to Edge. And I do believe that in Royal Rumble they will reveal who is this 'black cloud' is. It could be the long awaited return of Christian or it could be ...... Matt Hardy!

4. John Cena def. JBL w/ Shawn Michaels, retain World Title
- I really don't know what to predict with this match. Will Shawn - JBL feud will end up at Wrestlemania as title match ? If it is yes, then I believe JBL will end this match as a champion. However, seeing as I'm predicting someone in particular to win the Rumble and then challenge Cena for the title at Wrestlemania, thus I believe JBL will come out empty handed at this PPV. As for the match itself, well, we've seen those two before over and over again, so I guess this time it will also be the same.

5. Randy Orton win the Royal Rumble match
- The Punt Kick to the head of Vince seal the deal! Orton is in for a very big storyline this year. So I believe a win in the Rumble match will be the start of it.

AHAHAHAHA, I actually guessed Big Show at number 30. Insane. OH snap, I got the RVD surprise too. Really, just wild guesses.

Here's the quick results. A bit late, because I've just watched it yesterday.

1. Jack Swagger def. Matt Hardy, retain ECW title.
- Standard one-on-one match. Swagger win clean after hitting Matt with Gutwrench Powerbomb

2. Melina def. Beth Phoenix w/ Santino Marella, win Women's title
- Melina win via Rollup pin. In the middle of the match, Beth literally bend Melina's back and use Melina's own feet to hit her in the head. Damn!! (I wish Ron Simmons was still in WWE. LOL!)

3. John Cena def. JBL w/ Shawn Michaels, retain World title
- Ref bump, HBK hit Sweet Chin Music to JBL. But just when Cena & the crowd thought HBK has change of heart, HBK hit Sweet Chin Music to Cena too then put JBL on top of Cena. Cena however able to kick out and hit the Throwback (FU) for the win.

4. No Disqualification Match: Edge def. Jeff Hardy, win WWE title
- Vickie announce the stipulation before the match begin. Chavo involved in the match, leading to Hardy splashing him from top of the ladder to announce table (the ladder fell down when Jeff jump, fortunately Jeff still able to hit the spot). Vickie interrupting ref's count, leading to Matt Hardy come in and try to get Jeff hit a con-chair-to to Edge. But Matt instead hit Jeff with the chair. Edge easily cover Jeff for the win.

5. Randy Orton win the Royal Rumble Match
- Surprise entrant is Rob Van Dam. Santino Marella seems to breaking the record for fastest time being eliminated. Final fours are Randy Orton, Triple H, Cody Rhodes, and Ted Dibiase. Triple H busy eliminating Rhodes & Dibiase, then Orton just snuck up behind HHH and eliminate him to win the Rumble.

So what did you guys think of the Rumble? I thought it was good. I honestly predicted the Hardy heel turn a few days prior, but I still would've thought it was long odds to do it. Where its entertaining for friends to fight each other, its a little more personal when its close family like siblings. I find that I won't like this angle much.

The JBL/Cena match was fine. It seemed to hit the right notes in the match and really teased a HBK face turn, even though he's kind of a tweener. Or tweener/heel. Whatever.

The womens' match was good. Is it lame that I predicted Melina was going to win based on her hair done up and new outfit? XD The mrs and I marked out at the boston crab/head stomp as we've seen that for the last few years with MsChif. Overall, a good match.

Surprised that Swagger got the clean win, but happy about it. We've seen too many run-ins and screwjobs lately.

The Rumble itself was entertaining. Lots of good actions and a couple of good mark out moments including, RVD/CM Punk, Kane and Undertaker and HHH vs Orton/Big Show. After McMahon getting kicked in the head by Orton, I was not surprised to see him win this. I think that Orton is working with Stephanie or Shane though.
