I just heard a few hours ago. My condolences to his family. My understanding is it happened during a suplex? what kind and what happened?

I thought it was a heart attack after taking the suplex.

The heart attack was brought on after a spinal cord injury.

When things like this happen it reminds you how things can go wrong in an instant, makes me appreciate the small things all the more. I remember in high school I flipped over a guy while wrestling, I felt fine, and woke up a moment later, but the coach and every said I was convulsing, and that I had landed on my head, I didn't know the diffence. I really was greatful for my good fortune that day. I really feel bad for his family, and that he died doing something that he was so good at.

Someone passed me the link of the footage of a Japanese news broadcast. If there's one thing I never, ever want to see happen in a ring, it's CPR. At least it happened while doing what he loved, with the fans chanting their support for him.
