Enough small talk! On with the proving of points!
This links back to Episode 148 and the discussion there.
By the numbers:
Brooke tried to bring a weapon to the match. Doesn't say much about her confidence in winning fairly, does it?
Brooke's power display pose doesn't stop Sabrina from challenging her. And unlike a normal overpower, where the stronger wrestler shoves the weaker half way across the ring, Brook corners her and then doesn't give a clean break.
Proof of the cheap shots and Sun takes Brooke out with a single hit. Another cheap shot, sure, but she nailed it and Brooke is on the floor.
Sun again, and making it -hurt- now. This shot knocks Brooke out of the match for a full strip. Plus coins Ninka'd in the world as well as the comments.
Finally, Brooke looks like a power wrestler. Even Krystin has looked better until now, and I hate how her showing went in this. *sniff*
Taken out by Krystin. Some of her best moments here... well, until she gets her solo match against someone and wows everyone!
Brooke from behind. Again, she's showing power, but it's against a cruiserweight practically so it's not like any of the others couldn't have pulled this off also. Still, she did hit hard, yes.
This is -not- a page to brag on Brooke for. Look at Panel 1. If Brooke had been on her feet faster, Sun would have probably won the match here. She took out everyone that was standing. Brooke was still getting up. It's the only reason she got an advantage.
Brooke -picks Sabrina up- and can't finish it.
From behind again. Does she -ever- hit anyone fair in this match?
Brooke poses with her pin instead of making it count. No need for a save.
A truly good moment for Brooke. Beautiful counter on Sun. Forget Cruiserweight here. Only the stronest get away with that reverse, except against the really tiny. Of course, she again is slammed instantly, but hey.
Brooke again looking better than usual. Smart to break up the pin and good assault.
Notice how often Sun gets i shots on Brooke? Here's another. And a submission to follow breaking up the pin.
Okay... who other than Dustin Rhodes in an Ironman Match can't escape the most basic sleeper type there is? Jawbreaker. Flip over slam. Back 'em into the turnbuckles. Twist and side suplex. The list goes on. Major loss of awesome right there.
Brooke misses and put down fast. From how the others are getting near misses and escapes at times, I really think this shows Brooke is weakening faster than anyone else.
Credit for getting up first, even though she was also the first one down. Nice move by Brooke. Nothing but praise here.
Nice hook up, but Brooke takes too long looking for help. She should have checked once and then dropped Sabrina on her head. Foolish mistake.
Look at how Sun snapped when her nose got bloodied. Yeah, it's not at Brooke, but reason for fear maybe? Also,,, sad. Sabrina overpowered as well as out wiggled to get free of that. Poor Brooke.
And just to put icing on that cake... the one that should have been most dominate is the one to be pinned.
Overall, Brooke was not the force that a power wrestler should be and Sun was everything a speedy girl like her is meant to be, with a mean streak besides. This match is a perfect example of why Brooke not only is, but should be afraid of Sun.
