Hey Albone, are you planning on hitting any wrestling or comic conventions this year? Any one else?

Tentatively, it looks like Wizard World Chicago, Webcomics weekend and Baltimore Comic Con. I don't really know of any wrestling conventions that are going on, though I may try to see if I can sell the Rival Angels Graphic Novel at a couple of shows like ROH. Of course, I still have to print it up. XD

So yeah, any suggestions on some cons to hit? Or better yet, which cons are you all hitting this year?

I think people at Wrestling conventions or expos would be pretty receptive to a wrestling comic and especially one which promotes female wrestling in a positive light. Do some research granted but I think the themes (hard work in the face of adversity and uncertain times, personal fulfilment and rich people getting beaten up) chime well with society today.

Would love to see you make it out to BCC. If you do, I might just unveil a costume I've been considering for a little while... =)

I was at Tekkoshocon out in Pittsburgh, I'll be at Otakon and Wizard World Philly this year for definites. Baltimore Comic Con was BEYOND a BLAST last year, so I'm excited to go again.

Prestwick- a buddy of mine told me that wrestling shows do better than wrestling conventions. Seems that people go to see their favorite wrestlers and that's about it. If there were a local, or close to local show, I'd definitely consider it.

Hey Han! I hear Otakon is always cool but I missed ACEN this year. Booo! I'd love to go to Philly, but the trade/graphic novel won't be done yet. Wizard World Chicago for sure and I'm really hoping to make it to Baltimore this year. Seems like a lot of fun!

Hmmmmmmmmmm! Well keep us up on whether or not you intend to make it to BCC. I love that con, it's ALL about the comics and the community, none of the distraction from actors, video games, etc. P: From my perspective anyway ;)

If you go to Wizard World this year I might go. But If no one I know, ( Internet or otherwise) is attending, I probably won't. As a child I went with my father. As a teen, I went dressed as Rorshach with my friends, and in the past five years, I helped my friend load his store to and from the convention, and also worked at his booth. I think the first year I did it in a Rorshach Costume I didn't quite fit in anymore. (my shoulders got TOO Big) But yeah, since reading this comic, and a few others, I'm starting to like comics again, and not loathe the convention as I did before. I'm gonna find out if I'm going to be hustled into working there, or if I can go like I used to. It might be fun again. Promise I'm putting a can on my jaded view of the industry, I might just enjoy myself.
